Well, if you can believe it I was once 951bs. Before I started competing my body weight hovered around 95-100lbs. I was always athletic and during my four years in college I played soccer and softball. After college I worked in management for a large corporation in the northeast. After several years, I decided to become my own boss, so I moved to Florida to start my own company. Johnny Dolphin Fundraising. I helped elementary and middle schools raise money to better their education.

Throughout this time I was a member of a local gym and would try and train on a consistent basis. Progress was slow but visible. It wasn't long before several friends suggested I enter a local bodybuilding contest, the Tampa Bay Classic. I would always watch the bodybuilding championships on ESPN and think to myself, I could do that!

So I entered and won the Women's overall title. The trophy was taller than I was!

Since winning that show in 1997, my approach towards each contest is slightly different. I take a critical look at myself after each show and assess my symmetry, muscularity always accentuating my femininity. We all know how cruel judging can be on stage but ultimatelyI am thefinaljudge. I sort of use this bodybuilding career, as a way mold the best body my genetics will allow. It's a life long challenge and I'm up for it!

My confidence level has truly been elevated as a result of bodybuilding. The idea of setting a goal and reaching that goal with hard work is the most fulfilling feeling in the world. No one can take that away from you. I have been able to motivate others because of the discipline and focus I display.

I am petite at 4'11 ", and love to smile, it makes people feel good. Even though I've shaped up since college my personality has stayed the same Cute and Sassy!!

My entrepreneurial spirit lives on and has enabled me to purchase my own gym, a small 24 hour access facility that reminds me of the good ole days, no fluff just a lot of sweat and tears!!
